During its July meeting, the Propane Education & Council (PERC) approved an assessment increase from $0.004 to $0.0045 per gallon. The increase goes into effect Nov. 1, 2016. 
The additional revenue from the assessment increase is projected to be about $3 million. This will help fund programs in 2017, including the consumer education campaign, commercialization projects, and the Partnership with States Program.
